   Nov 8th, 2023, four elders were arrested at the Copy City Construction site in Atlanta Georgia. They had signs reading, “End Construction - Let the People decide.” As well as coffins labeled “Democracy” and “Weelaunee” to show that the Weelaunee forest and Democracy are dying.

   The Four Elders were surrounded by police vans, and all supporters were kicked out while they were arrested. This was part of the Block Cop City Week of Action, coming just two days after the 61 defendants on RICO charges were arraigned in the downtown Atlanta Courthouse, Monday. A Mass, Non-Violent, Direct Action is being planned for Monday, with trainings taking place throughout the weekend.
