XR Italy Bring Trojan Horse to Palazzo Grandi Stazioni

   XR Italy has taken action today. An enormous Trojan horse together with three soldiers appeared this morning in front of Palazzo Grandi Stazioni, one of the headquarters of the Regione Veneto , while Cassandra and Laocoon climbed onto the balcony of the palace. But why a Trojan horse?
   XR Italy, “We are in the middle of a Climate Emergency with lethal consequences, including the extreme drought that has already hit Italy hard.”
Despite the emergency, the Drought Decree, a plan containing measures that pretend not to recognize the real extent of climate crisis, isn’t addressing the underlying causes of climate change and offers fake-stop-gap solutions for damage mitigation only.
   The Decreto Siccità of the Veneto Region is, like the Trojan horse: a dangerous weapon presented to citizens as a gift. It is a Trojan horse because, if citizens accept this logic, they will realize too late that they have been deceived.
   XR Italy are opposed to the indifference of the state in this matter, "A government that finances fossil fuels until 2028 does not represent us. A government that protects polluters does not represent us. A government that criminalizes those who protest does not represent us."
   XR Italy has declared the social contract broken - they declare they are ready to act, and to motivate other people to act with civil, nonviolent and mass disobedience.
