Two scientists chained themselves to the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia to denounce the failure of COP 28. They locked on for over 7 hours.

From Scientists Rebellion Twitter, "We have been disappointed for 30 years. We can't expect them to fix the Climate Crisis! We want a permanent and binding Citizen Assembly now!"

The two scientists were apprehended after nightfall, only after it had become freezing and it became clear they would not budge. Their very minimum demand that someone come out and support their call to action, that scientists and members of the public engage in disruption, was not met.
