What is about reformist liberals that makes them so utterly clueless?
For 30 years Western carbon regimes have been engaging in indisputable mass death and destruction of the poorest people in the world while reformist liberals said nothing. Then when people started getting arrested by the 1000s and imprisoned by the 100s, they said nothing.
Only now when a fully fledged police state emerges do they get their knickers in a twist. Missing in action or what! A few years ago as co founder of XR I did a speech for Amnesty. I told them the bleeding obvious: the climate situation is "beyond fucked." I walked out.
Did they organize an emergency mobilization? Did their top people get arrested in solidarity? Did they at least contact me for an "interesting contribution?" No. What they did was FUCK ALL!!!!
