This Is Rigged Paint Action in Glasglow City
The This is Rigged direct action campaign in Scotland painted a Sainsbury Super Market, blasting CEO Simon Roberts - who is being paid 229x more than his employees, while demanding the super market slash baby food prices. The action took place on Buchanan Street, in Glasglow City. The environmental group wants to let the Scottish government know that the long-tax ordinary people of Scotland have a long, proud history of civil resistance.
This comes one day after the climate justice group damaged the Stone of Destiny case. All four women were arrested, and were demanding that supermarkets slash their baby food, baby formula, and nappies to March 2021 prices.

“What are our responsibilities at this time? Because of the fossil fuel industry, we are facing horrors of a magnitude never before experienced in our existence. Our government continues to lead us to the edge of no return. We must stand up and defend ourselves. No one else is going to do it. It must be us, if we want to live.
Our methods must be disruptive, and they must be nonviolent. Our actions are evidence-based, credible, and we have a plan. The only thing missing at this point in time is YOU!”
