Two Lego Men and One Human Protest at National Portrait Gallery XRPathways

On October 3rd 2024, Will Regan and 2 Lego men staged a protest at the National Portrait Gallery in DC , re-enacting the famous constitution action by Donald Zepeda and the activist known as Kroegeor. This action was designed to kick off the "Lego Rebellion" which officially launches October 6th, 2024.

The campaign is called "The Lego Rebellion" and is a two pronged action - which at once draws attention to the climate emergency, but also to the political prisoner Kroegeor as he has been in jail for 4 months now without sentencing, and stands to spend much more time in jail at sentencing, on November 8th, along with Donald Zepeda.

Since their action on February 14th, the FBI began an investigation into the organization known as Declare Emergency, the duo (Zepeda and Kroegeor) were strong armed into eventually taking a deal - which they will soon be sentenced for. They have agreed to years in jail, in exchange for a possibly lighter sentence.

Extinction Rebellion Pathways, beginning October 6th, will be executing non-violent, civil disobedience actions, in partnership with the Lego figures, some of which are pictured above. An undisclosed number of both activists, and Legos, have already signed onboard.

Since the government and FBI are doing all they can to prevent political discourse, and crack down on protesters, we feel some of the risk can be be alleviated, if we use humor, toys, indeed, child playthings - Legos - to help do the job.
