xr Rotterdam Throw fake blood on Port Authority A12 Blockade continues with glue on added to the rotation
This action was executed by XR Rotterdam, in conjunction with anti-coal group, Kappen met Kolen.
The action has gotten a bit of local attention, also, it opens up the conversation further as to why the government is still silent as Netherlands enters it’s 25th day of fossil fuel subside protests on the A12.
Recently the A12 protests were joined by the popular German group, Letzte Generation. After that, they have now begun to add glue to their repertoire. Monday was the first time it’s come the the Daily Rebellion’s attention that the demonstrators on the A12 would use glue. In the past, lock ons were the preferred method to delay arrests.
The glue on featured on Twitter has 60k views, and features the rebels singing, “take me by the hand,” ironically.
There has now clearly been around 8000 arrests and no end in site. The XR Netherland rebels promise to be back tomorrow at 12, noon.
Join DE This Sunday for a talk about how you can join this exciting group - and start making headlines of your own! Or at least help others do the same.
“What are our responsibilities at this time? Because of the fossil fuel industry, we are facing horrors of a magnitude never before experienced in our existence. Our government continues to lead us to the edge of no return. We must stand up and defend ourselves. No one else is going to do it. It must be us, if we want to live.
Our methods must be disruptive, and they must be nonviolent. Our actions are evidence-based, credible, and we have a plan. The only thing missing at this point in time is YOU!”
