XR Cambridge Glue On To Cut Fossil Fuel Ties students demand their school cut ties with fossil fuel company, SLB Schlumberger

One of the things that inspired me to be here today is hearing how the indigenous people in Ecuador have managed to win a referendum to end extraction or at least cause a halt to it in Yasuni. Schlumberger’s technology, including technology developed here some of their drillOps technology has been used to expand drilling in Yasuni and Ecuador…. We also know that Cambridge University has rated this organization as “red” - worse than BP And Shell. It’s out of line with their own science based climate targets. Cambridge has cut some ties, but this building is still here.”
