At 10am, in Zuccotti Park, 100s of climate activists gathered in preparation for a mass civil disobedience demonstration. Most were not yet aware of the exact target, but climate justice and mass civil disobedience were promised - so people stood out in the cold with soaking shoes and listened carefully to the instructions.

75,000 Climate Protesters March Through NYC
In a surprising, and monumental show of force, the climate movement mustered 75,000 protesters in NYC Sunday. The march lasted much longer than expected, as the it was jammed in every direction. Rallying started around noon, but speakers were still blasting out speeches at the drop off end of the march at 5:30pm. The crowd then began to dwindle to just around 10,000.

Friday, September 15th, Activists gathered outside the MoMA, (Museum of Modern Art), at 1pm for what would become an eventual 6 hour occupation and shut down of the museum. Their demand is that the museum cut their ties with the criminal private equity firm, Kohlberg Kravis Roberts, or KKR.
