Yesterday, five supporters of Just Stop Oil were met at the beginning of their march in the public square, Trafalgar, by 30 police officers. As the march began, they were arrested at a pedestrian crossing, during the green light.
Earlier this morning, a group of about 40 people started marching from Trafalgar Square in London in support of Just Stop Oil’s demand that the UK government immediately halt all future licenses and consents for fossil fuel exploration in the UK.
Monday, JSO supporters led a march down Hendon Way in North London. Just Stop Oil has been holding peaceful marches in London, demanding the UK government to halt all new oil, gas, and coal projects.
It’s Been a Wild Week with the Just Stop Oil Marches. During this week of action, they were joined by scientists and vegans. The scientists marched alongside Just Stop Oil in solidarity, creating at one point 30 separate marches, all across London.

And that’s the only street it should apply to. There is a specific location needed to be given when the order is in place.
