Letzte Generation Continue Week of Actions in Bavaria Staging a Protest at a Beer Garden Against Markus Söder
Markus Söder, Minister-President of the People's State of Bavaria, was confronted by Letzte Generation this week while he attempted to complete a bike tour -visiting beer gardens and eating radishes. He was also supposed to interact with his constituents, but chose not to engage with the protesters. This is part of a continuous week of actions Letzte Generation has led in Bavaria.
Here’s a quote from a Physics student at the demonstration, “"What is it like to have my future on (your) conscience?" One of the activists apologized to the other attendees, but also explained the reason for the action. "Our constitution is being broken with their eyes wide open by the politicians who are in office right now."

“What are our responsibilities at this time? Because of the fossil fuel industry, we are facing horrors of a magnitude never before experienced in our existence. Our government continues to lead us to the edge of no return. We must stand up and defend ourselves. No one else is going to do it. It must be us, if we want to live.
Our methods must be disruptive, and they must be nonviolent. Our actions are evidence-based, credible, and we have a plan. The only thing missing at this point in time is YOU!”
